(no subject)
Ok. So school starts tomorrow, and I really can't wait. Weee! I just miss meeting new people, and seeing new people. I think I've seen/meet almost everyone in Tville. It's a nice change of pace being back over here.
I started work today. I just transferred to another Publix that's barely 5 mins away from here. It's a really busy store, but a really nice one. And if it's anything like it was today, forever...then I should be content there. The workers I met today seemed really nice. And even the customers seemed pretty nice. I have to say, I was suprised. :) I work again on Thursday, and have a REALLY long day on Friday (1pm-11pm). But the paycheck should be pretty. Weee! I miss money so much.
I went home yesterday. I must say, it was kind of nice to be with my family, after what happened. I took Emma home...Since Fat Boy died, I thought it's what would be best for my family, and really, Emma. I knew she missed my family and other cats. And I knew my family really missed her. I was a little worried about how Baby would react to seeing Emma again...but they just touched noses and went about like nothing had ever happened. I did notice that Baby was a lot more friendly than before Fat Boy died. She misses him.
Anyway. I went out to the side yard where my fat buddy was buried. Spent a little while out there and paid my respects. It just felt to wierd going home and saying "hi" to Baby, and Rosie, but not Fat Boy. It's an old habit to say hi to the animals, and with one missing, I just felt like I was hanging in the air. Ugh. Anyway.
I love having Ken here! We are practically living together, which is a nice little glimpse of how things will be in a couple years. And even though he stays with me a lot, it's still nice to have my "own space". I'm not ready to give that up just yet. :)
