I have been bemoaning probably over a year that I think that my happy pills (antidepressants) has sucked out the creativity that I have had since childhood. I didn't start taking antidepressants until my senior year of college, and from that point on I have had absolutely no desire to write anything. Even technical work stuff has been hard to write.
But I may have a fluffy plot bunny nipping at my ankles. I love (and have always loved) the movie "Man in the Iron Mask," especially the end with the "charge." I know it is nothing like the books, but I have always had a soft spot for Gabriel Byrne - and not one LJ dedicated to him! TRAGEDY! And then I decided to go looking for fanfic, and WOE! Very little fanfic. And I found this post (
http://www.slashymoviereviews.com/2009/02/18/the-man-in-the-iron-mask/) discussing the lack of fanfic, watched the charge again, and VOILA! BUNNY!
So, of course, that means I have to watch the whole movie again to get all the nuances, and at least write down the bunny so I don't forget it. I'm hopeful to get at least, like, a 3 paragraph essay written! :=)
