It's been a while
It's been a while for a lot of things. It's been a while since I've had a good day at work, since I've kissed a boy, since I've had a crush, etc.
I had a great day at work today... It was long, but great. I had party tables, and my first table was a group of regulars. I was so nervous because my manager Jamie kept talking to them, and I didn't have a chance to say much. Eventually, I got my turn, and made them laugh. I gave them great service, and they tipped me very well. That just made me feel really good about myself because it felt like a test since they were regulars.
I had three tables after that tell me that I was the best server they have ever had. I talk to one table about CMU because they're son is checking it out. They told me if Lone Star over there doesn't work out to go to Block Buster because their one daughter manages it there. My other party table I completely neglected, but they said I was an amazing server. Go figure. Lol. Then I had a table (my last one) and it was a man and a woman and their 2.5 year old daughter. I talked with them the entire time they were there. They were so interesting. Surprisingly I learned a lot from them. (I'll talk about what I learned later on in this entry).
All of you know I don't have a love interest at this point in time. It makes me sort of sad, but I don't think I have time for someone right now. Perhaps when school starts. I've had a few minor crushes... Bio Boy was a big crush, but that just died... I had a minor crush on a loser at work, and then I had a crush on this other guy at work named Robert who is amazing. He has an amazing butt. (I know because he made metouch it). He is perfect. That won't work though because I feel he is too perfect... Too good for me. There is this guy that I've been talking to who is older than me... He's 25, and that's a little too old for me considering he is a teacher at a high school and that is like him almost dating one of his students. We're in different places in our lives, and are looking for different things when concerning relationships. That's why that won't work. Yesterday, this guy came in for orientation, and he was pretty cute. I talked to him for a bit. I talked to him more today. He asked me out, and caught me off guard so I replied with, "Why?" Not good. Anyway, he said he was sorry for being forward, but that's how he is. I told him I didn't mind. He is really nice, but once again a loser. I can't date a loser.
This goes back to what I learned from that couple... (A little background information about them). They are divorced from eachother, but are trying to make it work. They dated around a bit, but realized they need to work it out for their sake and their children's sake. They told me that I need to date seriously, and not to let losers bring me down. I need to stay safe while dating by keeping me first in line. However, to make a relationship work, both people need to communicate. It'll die if you don't communicate. I think most of my relationships lacked that. I talked to them about my last bf, and about my parents. It was an eye opener for me. They were amazing to talk with, and good tippers as well.
I was playing the role of a facebook stalker (not really, but sorta lol), and I started talking to this one guy. He is very interesting, and I enjoy talking to him. We have a lot of the same morals and views on things. He too is waiting until marriage to have sex. I know most of my friends get angry when I talk about sex because they didn't wait, and that isn't a big deal to me. More power to them for doing what they want. Well, I'm doing what I want to, and that is waiting. I'm ecstatic because he is waiting as well. I hope that a friendship forms between this boy and me because he does spark my interest.
Anyway, I am off to bed because tomorrow Sarah, Andrea, and I are going extreme garage saling for school! Woot woot!! Then I work a double starting at noon. Exciting!
PS If anyone cares, my schedule for the next few days consists of...
Saturday- Garage saling starting at 9am, and working a double starting at 12:00
Sunday- Church 10-12:00, then working 5-close.
Monday- Working a double starting at 12:00.
Tuesday- Dentist appointment at 2:00.
