WEEKEND UPDATE
FRIDAY
Friday was a busy day for several reasons... I had attempted to go to bed "early" (midnight) because I had a test at 9:00am. Of course things didn't go according to my plan because of excess noise from the other room. Anyway, after getting like no sleep at all, I woke up and went to class pretty much a complete mess, and took my test. Then I went to TAI and that's always an unpredictable class because you have to act out crap infront of everyone. After class I went and got my car and made the infinite trips down to my car (from the 4th floor mind you) with all of the stuff I was bringing home. I went home and took a shower which felt so much better than taking a shower here just because it was "home." After that I went to JcPenny's salon to get my "hurr did" (for those of you who can't understand my ghetto-fabulous talk... that means "hair done"). So looking famously I went shopping in the mall to purchase random items of need, and some crazy old lady started talking to me. She asked me about 20 questions about my hair, and where I was going and crap. She was a nut because she kept talking to me as I walked into the other isle. After that I went to my Grandma's house and did my laundry. She had some relatives visiting from Kentucky, and it was nice seeing them. My mom did my make up, and then I drove back to Mt. Pleasant. After that a few friends from the dance team came over because we were getting ready for our poms formal, and we went to the pre-party together... only to find out that our team had already left and the people from the other dance team were the only ones there. After that we came back to my room and changed into our lovely dresses. We had to tape my friend Stephanie (the blonde Lindsey look-alike) into her dress. That was pretty funny. Stephanie is a good girl, and I'm glad I met her. We then went to the formal, and were totally shocked once we got there. The room we were in was so small that everyone couldn't sit down at the same time. The food was all right, but nothing special. Jim and I stayed for about an hour and a half then we came back to my room and hung out. In the morning...
SATURDAY
My Grandma called at 7:45, but I didn't hear the phone ring. I guess she called again after that. Also, she left a message, and on my phone when someone leaves a message it rings every so often to notify you of that. Jim woke me up and said that the phone rang like 20 times so I got up and went and searched for it in the living room trying to stay quiet because kartina and gavid were sleeping. Then I called my Grandma back and her and my "Aunt" from Kentucky wanted to meet me at the casino because I didn't finish all of my laundry so my Grandma did it for me, and I was supposed to drive back and get it, but my Grandma wanted to bring it to me. Sooooo... I was at the casino at 9:30am after not sleeping all freaking night or the night before. After casinoing it up for 2 hours I got a call from Jim asking me to accompany him to Saginaw. I said my good-byes and drove back to my room to unload some of my stuff, just to drive to alma to meet up with Jim. We watched cops for a little bit... it was the best of cops, and there was this lady who flagged down a cop that was driving by because she went to buy some crack off a woman, and she gave her 20 bucks, but the woman didn't give her the crack. The cop was stunned and couldn't do anything because the woman didn't have any on her. The cop questioned the woman that supposedly sold the crack, and she said I don't sell crack... I'm a prostitute! Good ol' cops... never going to get tired of that show. Anyway, Jim and I then went to Saginaw because his computer was fried and it was under warranty so he got a brand new one. We were there forever. On the way back I had a terrible headache, and I felt back because I fell asleep. When we got back to Alma I decided to go right back to Mt. Pleasant because I had a headache. I stopped for subway though, and ate an entire footlong sub on my way back to Mt. Pleasant... Mmm, delicious. Then I finally took a 2 hour long nap, and woke up still having my headache. I then went over to Sarah's and we studied for a couple of hours, and I ended up spending the night there because she was there alone. Then...
SUNDAY
in the morning, I did the pretend walk of shame from Sarah's dorm to mine. For those of you who don't know what the walk of shame is, it is when someone hooks up with someone else after like a night of partying or something, and has to walk back to their room in the morning wearing the same clothes the night before, while avoiding people's stares because you looks so disarrayed. I got back here, took a shower to get ready for church, only to receive a phone call from Jim saying that the roads are too bad to go to church. Now I am sitting here updating LJ, and eating skittles... The rest of my day will consist of napping, studying for my killer biology test tomorrow, and then poms practice.
