First OFFICIAL Day of Summer
Summer didn't officially start until today. Friday was technically the first day, but with graduation and all, it didn't really count.
Two awesome things happened recently:
ONE- Today was the first day of Camp Putah. My group is hecka tight, and we got to canoe all day. I got soaked in nasty Putah creek water, and rode down the "rapids". We also had a sweet canoe race, my team winning. I can't wait to do this for nine more weeks!
TWO- Yesterday was Father's Day, as everyone knows. My grandpa and I drove from my house to Club Pheasant (restaraunt in West Sac) to meet the rest of my family there (too complicated to explain why we didn't all go together). So my grandpa is an insane driver. We drove 50 mph inside Davis, and 85 mph on the freeway. Windows rolled down the whole way during an intense wind. It was freakin' awesome.
