well it happened, and it was good, now I'll be posting my personal opinions about it latter, after I see it again, not at 12 in the morning but I didn't want to put a few reviews that said my feelings best:
It's Palpatine who says the words Anakin wants to hear. In the course of a conversation, he slyly mentions that those who master the dark side of the force have the power to bring back the dead. It's the best written, best acted and most adult scene in the 3 "Star Wars" prequel films, and it's subtle as well in that, despite the casual tone, something enormous is starting to happen.
kept thinking how much better Sith would play as a silent film, with only Chewbacca allowed to do his Wookiee growl and John Williams to trumpet his recycled score
It's a cute touch, but the movie omits the one scene it most needs to show -- the one in which Anakin commits an act of such evil that there's no turning back. It's the "Macbeth" moment, the scene this trilogy has been leading up to, the dive off the moral high board - - and Lucas just skips it.
Don't get me wrong, I liked it, but when a epic billion dollar movie, can still be out down by a cartoon micro-series in the writing department, theres something to be said
