(no subject)
Well, my boring life has become somewhat less so.
Last saturday was spectacular...
Those in attendance at Pike Lake (in order of appearance)... Me, Ryan, Kevin, Amanda, Kathee, Mel, Ben, Chrissy, Wyatt, Devon, and Katie. The first four of us had been out since about three ish in the afternoon. We put up streamers and baloons (a big fuck you to whoever tore them down... DEVON... little fucker) and it looked all cool and purdy.
So then the drinking began... and I got right into it, and wound up demolishing about 3/4 of a 26 of Vodka before the night was through.
Wound up playing sociables... Dares were excellent (ok, go lick Kevin), the thumb rule killed Ben, and so did anything about cars, Lesbians is a great way to start one word stories (thanks Kevin).
Peeing off the suspension bridge is cool, no matter what Katie says... Ryan, you're an idiot for... well pretty much everything we did that night... I can't belive no one died on that zipwire... That swing needed a longer rope and then you guys would have been in for a REAL ride (if I could have kept traction) Oh, and Kareoke is great.
Shitty that Tom couldn't find his way out, oh well, another time.
And lastly, Amanda DEFINATLEY looks cuter with a tail. ;)
Fast forward to... now. Well today.
Got a call this morning from Huyundai (sp?) about that lot position I applied for. Apparently dude that they did hire didn't show up for work, so they called me. He has one more shot tomorrow, but if he's a no show, I think I'm the shoe in. Yay! Work!! Day started off well.
Later, I'm bumming around doing laundry and Norm calls (UFCW rep) says apparently the company sent my retirement cheque to the lawyer, who then sent it to UFCW HQ, who then phoned me to pick it up... YEEEEESSSS!!!!!! MONEY!!!! WOOOO!!!
So I go pick it up, head to the bank to deposit it. Excellent.
First order of buisness... a gift for my gorgeous girl... Les Miserables tickets!!! HOLY CRAP!!! 190 bucks later we have floor seats on Friday night which is goooood I guess (for her, and hopefully for me).
Second order of buisness, my 'happy settlement' present to myself. A Samsung SPH-A660 flip phone!!! YAY!!!
So yeah, nutshell... life good... new phone... drunk... les mis... happy me... still need job... but hopefully tomorrow!! :D
