Holiday
Spin spin spin Stop!
Like most I'll comment on the Holiday weekend. Friday was productive and I cleared relationship matters with Alex. That went more smoothly than expected and at least a friendship (nothing more) will be retained. Saturday was one of the first parties I'd been to in a while. I was just fine with the large numbers of people in the end. I was quiet, but enjoyed myself. Sunday was a big family dinner party at home. I had the opportunity to chat with my Aunt Debbie who works in the NSA and she's going to help me with my intern application this month. If this works out I'll be happily employed right after graudation. Monday was another large gathering. I wasn't so quiet there after I warmed up to the occasion. I liked chatting with people and playing hide and seek a little. No disasters and no headaches. But this weekend include too many people for me so I'm gonna hide quietly for a bit.
One catch to that plan. My mother is taking a much needed and deserved vacation away from the kids this week which means I'm in charge of 6 rug rats (my father is included in that; he requires a good deal of maintenance). I'll drive to work in the early mornings and then return quickly in the afternoons. My mother and I compromised on the social activities. I'll stick around today for soccer fun, skip everything Wednesday, try Squash on Thursday (if that's still happening) and then soccer Saturday. To keep little ones distracted I'll take them to the pool on Saturday (and the weekdays) and then the Zooon sunday!! I love the zoo and they make a good excuse. So it'll be a longish week at home, but hopefully everything goes smoothly and my mother gets the time she needs to relax.
