First time since....well i cant even remember...
Woo man...Im back
When aric and i were driving home from fayetteville he kept on commenting on the fact that he didnt feel too good. But i didnt think much of it because that sort of stuff happens from time to time.
Needless to say i wake up the next morning and i feel like balls. Ive got sinus congestion, mild headache, and ontop of that a sore throat. Well it only got worse...by tuesday evening i had a fever of 101 and i felt miserable. And yes fever's will do that to you.
But luckly (thanks to theraflu, i love ya but ya still taste like shit) i slowly recovered tuesday night and spent all of wednesday resting and taking it easy. Now here on thursday i feel all better. And yea i was freaking out thinking that i might be sick during the runway show. But i was gona do it as long as i could stand up and walk straight. Because thats the kind of hardcore model i am!!! BOO YAH!!! IN YO FACE! (Sensing the sarcasim? Sheesh)
But yea all is well and today i have to go in for my fittings on what im wearing for the runway show. And while im talking about this let me take the time to dispell two big myths in the modeling industry.
Number 1: No we do not pick out what we wear, no matter how hideous or ugly it may be its not the model that picked it out.
Number 2: No we do not get to keep the clothing. Unless im on a first name basis with a whole slew of celebrities and i just have that sort of notoriety. Im not walking out of that store with what i wore without paying for it first. So, sorry guys but i cant get you free clothing. Im still a small fry in the modeling industry, haha.
But yea after im done with all the rehearsels and shows and what not this week ill finally get to hang out with ryan,stu,max, and nathaniel and the gang again. And im definately looking foward to that. Not to mention my good buddy Christine from Mountainview is in town to work and visit so it should be a pretty awesome weekend.
I feel like im forgetting something...hmmmm...Oh yea...i guess you can come who ever is reading this to the shows at park plaza which are at 1 and 4 pm on the main stage at the bottom level. You cant miss it.
Ill be sure to get a bunch of pictures, so you guys can alter and edit them so that i look like a pirate or something like that. Dont look at me that way i know you better than you think! Haha.
