BZ Corner, Husum, White Salmon, Washington - Hood River, Oregon
As Lady Etain and Prince Cian were exhausted, Sir Thomas Leaf arose early for his solitary 14 mile drive through BZ Corner and Husum, Washington across the bridge into Hood River. Although broke, he scrounged up $2.00 for the toll so that he could hit the Hood River library. He badly needed to check on job hunting responses, pleas to the state for assistance, and if the Federal free phone had yet to arrive at their mail center. He was in luck, it arrived and a bumper sticker order was awaiting for them. Also a blessing of a pay it forward gift from a friend to help out with their hardships. Thee timing could not have happened better. Sir Thomas Leaf was in tears as they have been really hurting. Snow had yet cleared and work was not yet available. A day of internet and job hunting, he headed back home before dark to spend time with Lady Etain and Prince Cian. On his dying laptop he squeezed in about 45 minutes of battery life to chop away at 2014’s taxes. Then the normal ritual of passing out to some of their favorite downloaded shows cuddled in their sleeping bags for a cold winter evening sleep.
