A fast, delicious, Japanese restaurant in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Named after the famous temple on Mount Mitaki, it means “three waterfalls”. The owners chose the name to give their customers a sense of comfort and gratification. To me though, the decor and style of the joint while artsy edge quick-food restaurant in a bustling metropolis, i didn’t get the sense of comfort nor gratification. Don’t get me wrong, the sushi was pretty decent. Though slower service than their image portrayed as a quick place to grab a bite to eat. The food however, a bonus, is very inexpensive. That is a plus in my arena. The shop has the fragrance of sushi and Japanese cooking. Some say the smell will follow you home. I didn’t notice. For the price, its a good stop. For the quality, I’d go somewhere else. Rating: 3 stars out of 5.
