Room for rent in S Austin duplex!
One of my roomies is leaving, so I have a bedroom available for rent. Please get in touch if you're interested; feel free to pass the info along to others. The space will be available on January 1, 2012 (maybe a few days earlier). Here's the 411:
The space: 3/2.5. I'm in the master bedroom/bath. The other two bedrooms share a full bath between the two of them; the 1/2-bath is adjacent to the kitchen on floor 1. Washer/dryer, fireplace, fenced backyard w/a deck. Gas & electric in the house. Brand new ceramic tile in the kitchen/dining area and bathrooms. Brand new wood flooring in the living areas, hall, closets & bedrooms. Lots of trees, so plenty of shade. At the end of a short street on a cul-de-sac, so there's no traffic going by. Lots of shopping nearby including - restaurants, coffee houses, Central Market, Alamo Drafthouse, Half Price Books, etc etc. I also have a complete gym set up in the garage - smith cage, lots of free weights and the relevant bars & accessories, and an elliptical trainer.

About me - 42yrs, male, bldg inspector, fire spinner, compete in inline skate marathons. I travel around a good chunk of Texas for my job as a building inspector, but I write up the inspection reports at home.
Male or female are welcome. You'll be sharing the space with two people - myself of course, and my other roommate (female).
Pets are negotiable. Smokers are okay, but no smoking tobacco inside - only outside, please.
I'm the landlord - I own the entire duplex (both sides), and I take good care of it.
