I keep trying to remember to post more regularly, and then I just get busy and forget. Oh well... I'm posting more frequently (as in "I'm actually posting!"), so that's a start.
Saturday, we went to a mall we'd never been to before, the Westfield Oakridge mall. An enclosed mall, quite different than the open-air malls we're used to in San Diego, but not too different than the ones I'm used to from the northeast. This one had a sizeable food court, which also acted as the lobby for the movie theater. Lunch at Carl's, with Cap'n Crunch milkshakes. Yum!
Went to visit a new church on Sunday, the UU Fellowship of Los Gatos. It's a small fellowship, about 100 members, so not many kids or need for Sunday School teachers at the moment, but it did have its own building. Not as many people came up to say Hi to us as we experienced on visits to other churches in the area, though. Time to start the rounds again, give the churches a second visit, see how it goes.
Work's been fine, though Tuesday evening went long, as I got some last-minute work that took several hours. Wearying, but actually nice, as I felt nearly useful finally, instead of just doing self-paced playing around with the application.
Off to dinner.
