Lesson
by Thomas Dekker
11/7/05

occasionally
you frustrate me
with your lack of thought
your unbridled mouth devoid of sensitivity
your words stained with complete non existence of awareness
this gives birth
this gives birth to a flame in my eyes
an ash in my mouth
like I am forced to lounge on a fire
I grit my teeth
and they give birth to a new dream
a new plan
a new wish
to teach you
to teach you a lesson
you stand
I approach
my anger boils
you are unaware
to take you by your shoulders
scratch my nails down your innocent flesh
you think you know what it means?
soon you'll see
ripping away your covers
you are thrown to the bed
your arms raised above your head
you are trapped
I've got you now
yell, moan, plead all you like
I have you
you are trapped
my claustrophobic hold
my muscles are too great
you are pinned
mine
you drown in my sweat
my furrowed brow
I pound you
pound you until your flesh is red
your red red flesh
your inner nuclear explosion
I am inside you
I go deeper
harder
faster
scream
explode
then swimming inside
and now I leave you
you lie there in your pitiful broken child state
a forest creature after a tornado
and now you know
now you know
you have learned your lesson
