1.So, what is it about Ming the Merciless (hail Ming) that caught your attention? I mean there are so many villains with dominate/destroy agendas. Why Ming?

Dude, ‘cause it’s MING! In all seriousness, it’s really because I love Flash Gordon. It’s by far, my favorite cult classic of all time. I , perhaps somewhat sadly, have a near encyclopedic knowledge of that movie. When Entertainment Earth put out decent figures from the movie, I had to have one.

2. Of all the colleges in all of the towns in all of the states in the country in the world, did you choose Berry College here in Rome?

You go for the can of worms questions, don’t you :-)

There I was , my senior year in high school, debating colleges. I wanted to go out to state, possible to Bowling Green conservatory, but the ‘rents said no way to anything out of state for financial reasons. There were really no music schools in GA at the time I wanted to go to, so I made the stupid choice to go where my high school BF and several other musician’s had gone- Berry.

It took me a while to get up there thanks to class credit issues, so I got a semester or two in a Floyd in the mean time.

I *hated* their music program with a passion. My high school band was better, and the teachers were so In The Box and would tell me things like I couldn’t get paid to do music stuff because I didn’t have a degree. Add to that the psycho ex drama at the time, and meeting my current husband, well, you can see why Rome and Berry got the finger.

Granted, I wouldn’t change it now since that’s where I met Jason. I see that meeting as the true meaning of living in Rome/Hell for a while.

3. What is your favorite weapon?
Double short swords.
Though, a single six cowboy gun is rapidly gaining.

4. What is one of your favorite "on the top of the world" moments whenyou were basically the win?

Playing on Symphony Hall stage my senior year in high school It was my last performance of high school and I memorized every bit of music so I could just concentrate and play (I sat a blank folder on my stand for uniformities sake) At the end Elsa’s Procession to the Cathedral by Wagner the hold was cut off and I could hear my own sound and note in the final chord echo through Symphony Hall. I burst into tears after that.

5. What is the talent/skill/trait that you possess that you are the mostproud of?

Probably my skill with music. I live it and breathe it, and though at the same timeI’m terrified of, in the performance world, being only known as a musician. Hence why I’ve broken into stage combat, acting and improve. I want to be a Performer. Yes, music will always be my strong point, but my soul is that of a Performer.
