So, last week my lungs were having some technical difficulties with said difficulties culminating with me being unable to even move much without having breathing issues. Well, as is the way when my lungs go on strike I give myself a few at home breathing treatments and steal some steroids from the arthritic members of my family to supplement my defective lungs.
Thanks God, I love the faulty body you gave me. It could be worse, so I'm not complaining. Too much or too loudly.
My van is under heavy repairs and should be finished soon. What with issues with faulty brake shoes, power steering leaks, and probably a hundred smaller problems.
This week however is shaping up. My lungs started improving last Friday, steadily on the mend. Repairs are coming along on the van. I got to see House two times this week. I may have a job, and although not necessarily the greatest thing, it is a job and it's not in food service. In addition to this I applied for a job at the library that would fit all of my needs if I could obtain it. I would be incredibly happy. Perhaps even ecstatic. It would basically be full time, Monday through Friday, and benefits. Can we say "God, this would make up for the asthma, short height, arthritis and chemical imbalances?"
In the matter of hobbies, stagefreaky told me about eclipse, which i then passed on to my crew here. The crew here went there and we had a grand old time. I am excited about the next event and hope to attend. I have also gotten back into the swing of engraving and even engraved some calcite crystals with the symbols of the fringer religion to use as oracle stones for my shaman in eclipse. I have had to take a bit of a break due to lung and weather problems. I can't do much work in my room due to the dust it creates and until recently the weather has been too cold to work outside for me. I have also somewhat gotten into this free online game called Shaiya or something of that line. I have made an assassin named Ville in honor of my hero Ville Valo. I also plan on bringing in a new vampire, a mekhet who should be rather interesting. In some ways I will be drawing inspiration from my first vampire character from the last chronicle, my toreador Sebastion Rhineheart. However, Sebastion Rhinehart (aka Sebastion version 3.0) is going to fit with the themes of the new world of darkness rather well along with a few other changes here and there. I am actually getting back into the cam despite some "interesting" things going on right now that I am thankfully not involved with. I suppose part of my loss of steam is the fact we had the December vacation. I am very excited to see what Steve is going to bring to Changeling, I am wanting to approach Mage a different and more magic ready way with Tombs, and I want to see what the future holds for my two Requiem characters.
In the matter of everything else, I have been having fun hanging out with people and finding new ways to divert myself and others in this city. I am also trying to figure out something in regards to my spiritual nature. I am still iffy about anything defined or labeled because I am such a hodgepodge of a thing, but I do have a bit of a spiritual side beneath the sneering veneer of sarcasm, jokes, cynicism, and hatred for how people somehow manage to twist all religions into stupid caricitures. The fact they try to push these off on everyone and spread the ignorance or stupidity only enrages me further.
All I can say is I am grateful for the few people of all faiths who are actually cool about their religion instead of being a foaming moron.
