My long overdue birthday post
So I'm 26!!! I'm old!! Boo.
Tuesday, Oct 28 was my birthday and so that evening I went to dinner with some of my friends. Justin, Katie and Mike, Bri and Ryan, Alice, Amanda, Dana, Lio, Megan, and Micaela all came. We ate at Il Fornio, an Italian restaurant in Irvine. It was very yummy and I had a good time. After dinner, back at my place, Justin gave me my birthday present. It consisted of a wonderful card, wicked tickets for the upcoming weekend, and a 2-disc mix CD he made for me. It was the best present ever! The mix playlist is awesome and I listen to it all the time. We then drove over to Justin's apartment where we and his roommates spent some time in the complex's hot tub. Fun times!
So that Friday night was Halloween so we dressed up (me as a gay boyscout and him as a gay in the army) and we went to the sociology grad student party. It was fun! We met Sarah Palin, some of my friends, and we got way too drunk. After we left the party, I got a bit sick and Justin was awesome taking care of me before we went to bed. The next morning, we woke up, got breakfast, and drove up to LA for our matinee showing of Wicked. We arrived a couple hours early so after picking up the real tickets, we walked down Hollywood blvd. It was the sketchy part of Hollywood which I found humorous. After walking around, we watched the show which was AMAZING!!! Even if Glinda acted like an excited puppy about to pee on itself. After the show, we drove back to Irvine where we met Justin's mother, who was in town for a conference, and had dinner with her.
Sunday Justin and I got up and met Sean and Roger at Disneyland! We spent the day at Disneyland which was a huge amount of fun. Roger and Sean left a bit early because Roger had work so Justin and I went to Downtown Disney where we made build-a-bears of each other (I made one like me, and he made one like him). After driving back to my apartment, we exchanged bears so he would have one of me and I would have one of him. Sappy!!! But sooo cute!!!
Justin was so amazing to me for my birthday. This was my first birthday in a relationship and he made me feel so special. It was a fantastic birthday.
