4th of July in reality-

-wasn't so bad but I am real cranky today to be at work.

My bookshelf is half an hour a way from being complete.  I worked on it four hours yesterday and three this morning after an almond paste roll and a cup of sumatran coffee from the Flourhouse.  If I could have been home today, the damned bookshelf could have been in my kitchen tonight with all the piles of books off the floor and where they belong.  That is the big reason for me to resent driving to Portland today.

I made my casserole and finished up almost everything I could find in the fridge.  In the end it was a nice gooey mess of an unidentified cheese, swiss chard, baby turnips and leaves, scallions, lots of dill, parsley, garlic, shallots, breadcrumbs, butter, sherry and short grain brown rice.  Tomorrow I get more food from the farm.  Looking at the newsletter, it looks like a lot of lettuce.

The best thing about yesterday was the fact that Trey made a hole in the wall.  Now I can go upstairs without having to go outside first.  Easy access to my craft room.  Hopefully I will be motivated to use it more.

My jeep got a bath today.  There was a buch of mud on the rocker panels and I had to get it off before rust started forming under it.

As soon as I finish my bookshelf I will post pictures.  I have been working on this thing sporadically since maybe September.
