Poem

Tonight the moon outshone Orion
Osiris, thou ever strident initiate King
Whom, since I was a child of roses
thy single starlit form I'd see.
Oh but tonight the moon outshone thee

Nay! Dissolved thee,
a glowing billowed sail upon some
darkened sea.
And for a moment, oh Osiris
I forgot thee
and all thy awesome responsibilities.
