Ripping others
I belong to 2 social media sites of which LJ is one. These two sites could not be more different than one another. Yet there is a striking similarity between the two, a really sad similarity! Everyone posting seems to find a way to "put down" others. It does not seem to matter what the subject might be: I've got a cold, or purchased something new, or a relative is visiting, one way or another these posters find a way to rip on others. The really sad thing is most of these people consider themselves "spiritual", and are in fact spiritual souls. Yet their shadow side, of which I can only conclude they are woefully ignorant, comes out for all to see: A cranky old lady, dusted with talcum and dosed with lilac, and intolerant of practically any and everyone. Please, step out of your moo-moo!
