LATE NIGHT MYSTIC MUSINGS.
There are places where rabbinical qabbalists write of GOD and they are really referring to THE INITIATE, of MAN as God Seeker!This is no where more true than in their treatment of God's Creation, especially as put down in De Leon's Zohar and the consequent teachings of Codovero and Luria.If you study up on the creation mythos of these three and substitute the word MAN for GOD you will be rewarded by being revealed unto you a magical, esoteric, Initiatic praxis!
As a brief example: In the Zohar, God's Creation must of necessity happen INSIDE himself. To create, God CONCENTRATES a point of Light within himself. This power point of God's Nature REFLECTS upon itself and in so doing expands his Light into a circular or egg shaped AURA. From this aura bursts forth the cosmos.
Now think and wonder! If what I say is true, what might this be suggesting about initiatic, esoteric practice/experience?
