Okay, so I know I haven't been around in a bit to comment on Bones lately. Outside of everything in real life conspiring to keep me away, I was also just unsure of what to say or how to respond to an episode that still blows my mind. But I gotta start back at this somewhere so here goes:

Doctor in the Photo was a terrific way to end the 1st half of the season. I read another comment about Brennan's Big Reveal, where the commenter noted that Brennan was only honest to Booth about her feelings when he was unavailable. I thought that was an interesting insight and rings true to me. It was safer for her to say it because his answer (of no) was really inevitable.
I was pretty disappointed in Body in the Bag. I have been alternately flummoxed and angry at how the character of Hannah is written. I thought she was really a waste of a good opportunity. The last episode, though did me in. What woman in her right mind, upon finding that her boyfriend's work partner made a play for him, then ponders how this will effect her friendship with said work partner. I can tell you how it would effect the friendship. It would be over. The relationship between Hannah and Brennan already strained the bounds of reasonableness, but that scene left me wondering just what they are teaching in journalism school these days, because Hannah seemed pretty clueless.
On to better episodes, I say, and hopefully starting tonight.
