http://www.boston.com/travel/gallery/zoo_babies?pg=2 The baby animals are adorable! But on the second slide you say:
"Monifa," a Pygmy Hippopotamus female calf, is taken out of a bath at the Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia. "Monifa," which means "I am lucky" in Nigerian, was born on October 15, 2008. Zoo keepers are hand-raising the calf after it struggled in the first 24 hours to stand and suckle its mother.
There's no such language as "Nigerian"; that's like saying "Do you speak Asian?" On
the Ethnologue site you'll find a list of 512 languages spoken in Nigeria. Which one did you have in mind?

Good Morning:
Thank you for writing to Boston.com.
http://www.boston.com/travel/gallery/zoo_babies?pg=2 has been updated to reflect that "Monifa" is a Yoruba phrase.
