The
Center for Contemporary Mussar is concerned with the centuries-old Jewish theory and practice of ethics, and running classes for those who are interested. I am now in the second semester of an online course. I have nothing but praise for their programs, as distinct from their programming...
I unsubscribed from one of the 2 addresses I've been receiving your mailings act. I tapped SUBMIT and nothing happened, except that everything I had written and checked was blank again.
Needless to say, I was extremely disturbed at this. I thought that somehow your system or my fumble-fingers on my small smartphone had destroyed what I had written, perhaps by accidentally tapping "Return to previous page" or whatever it is, instead of SUBMIT, which is separated from it by only a fraction of an inch.
After calming down a bit I wrote and submitted it again as well as I could, being very careful to tap SUBMIT, and again all the fields went blank. I deduce that my both submissions did indeed go through.
It is extremely annoying and a very poorly designed user experience to give no acknowledgment of a successful submission. If the events went as I think they did, I am surely not the first user to be distressed about this failure of yours, though I may be the first to complain about it.
