I'm at the con hotel, having arrived safe & sound last night about 9. As I got out of my car for the second of my two breaks in the drive (not counting the emergency one) I heard a welcome voice: hms42@LJ calling my name as he strode across the lot toward me with a big grin! He was driving up to the con from NYC with 
mneme and
drcpunk , and it was the wonderfulest of coincidences that we both stopped at that stop at the same time.
We spent a good hour (literally) together having dinner and talking, which did me EVER so much good!
