Hawk in the hood
And I don't mean hooded for hunting.
A hawk grabs some sun high above the sidewalk near 45th and Spruce.

That's about 4 blocks from our house. :-)
This is apparently a Cooper's hawk. We had a family of Cooper's nesting right over our corner last summer. They sure put the fear of Death-from-Above into the squirrels!
