Domestic Work: Poems by
Natasha Trethewey My rating:
5 of 5 stars This was Trethewey's first book, and even then her rich poetic voice and her subject of history, both personal and national, are on full display. Often her poems highlight the everyday little moments of work, finding significance and grace in the mere labor of survival in modern life and the power of memory. Highly recommended.
