Kayak Morning: Reflections on Love, Grief, and Small Boats by Roger Rosenblatt
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
After he lost his daughter, the author took up kayaking. This is not so much a memoir of kayaking or even dealing with his grief two years later as much as it is a prose poem about life, death, water, and what it all means. The writing is beautiful and moving. Recommended.
