So I often don't follow local news here, especially politics. Tennessee politics tends toward the depressing and the inane so it's best to ignore those sections of the paper, particularly if the paper is the god-awful Tennessean.

However, this story amused and surprised me. It involves brilliant strategy along with underhandedness and trickiness. It makes me happy.
