I hate banks. They are thieves.
Write me a check on your account. I go to you bank to cash it, because I spent cash and I want cash. I do not have an account with your bank, so after demanding two forms of ID and a thumbprint, I am informed that it is going to cost me. $5.00 it is gonna cost me because I want my cash.
I am damn tired of this. It costs me $5 each week to cash my paycheck (so yes, $260 a year to get MY money). It costs me $5 each to cash the $15 checks that I was given to pay for the supplies for the banner painting workshop.
Yes, I have an account that I could deposit the checks into, but then I have to wait three to five days for those checks to clear, before I have my cash. If I deposit cash, my account is credited immediately. Do we see a vicious cycle here?
Why do we put up with this?
