According to the Seamarch Anniversary Event webpage, no lunch is to be provided at the event (and possibly no walk-in feasts either) so I thought I would resurect the old Jaguar and Thistle Taverna. That's right folks, hard to imagine, but Roz is gonna cook.
The Jaguar and Thistle Taverna lunch menu will consist of:
$5.00 Pork Souvlaki (5 oz of pork marinated in the Grecian fashion, w/ pita and a splash of Tz-sauce, )
$2.00 Tzaziki (Single serving of yogurt and cucumber sauce with pita loaf)
$2.00 Dip Fetas (single serving of Basil and Feta cheese Spread, with pita loaf)
$2.00 Humus (single serving of chickpea dip, with pita loaf)
$5.00 Dip assortment (Tzaziki, Dip Fetas, and Humas, with 2 pita loaf, a side for 2)
$2.00 Tabouli (single serving of mint and bulgher wheat salad)
$1.50 Svingi (single serving of Batter puffs with Honey and Cinnamon)
$2.00 Ancient Frit Salad (Not your grandma's fruit salad, single serving)
$2.00 Sekajabin (Persian Mint Drink), all you can drink all day
A short note would be appreciated if you plan to partake of this light repast so that I might plan efficiently.
This is a fund-raiser for me, myself, and I. No group (other than the aforementioned) will benefit from this fundraiser.
But I promise the food will be more than tasty, and mostly documentable to period. Documentation provided upon request. :)
