This is crazy.....
The kids here at work (I am one of the oldest members of our team) are scurrying around, talking about the gas stations shutting down. The oldsters are recounting tales of 1971, but the youngsters are still being crazy....
Ugh.
I think 20th Year is off for me. No, I have to be an adult here.... Despite how much I REALLY want to go to the event, I must not go. ::sad::
Gas *is* $3.25 here now, and that is if the station even has any. When I came into work this morning, it was $2.69. Top that off with Elizabeth being in a car wreck yesterday (she and the baby are fine, though she says she has whiplash) and will not be going.....
::sigh::
But I do have an interview in South Keep the Monday after the event. Real job = REAL money. Not as keen on Miami as I once was ::big sigh:: but I do still like the area. It would be a nice change of pace, to be sure. And heck, money is money......
