The best part about being in an order like Golden Dolphin is being able to be up front when your friends get inducted. :-) Back when Saunooke first moved to NC, Ronan was our roommate. We got along wonderfully and even though he's up in Hawkwood now, we still count him as one of our dearest friends. When he introduced us to Mary, it was immediately obvious that she fit perfectly into the the tight bond of our friendship. Seeing Ronan and Muriel get their GDs Saturday was WELL worth 6 hours in a car!
The only down bit was that we got to the event even later than we originally planned and didn't have as much time to visit with folks as we would have liked. I didn't even get to say hello to Rhiannon and tell her that her hair looks FABULOUS - by the time we saw her she was already in herald mode getting ready for court. Oh well.
Not enough time in the weekend. One curtain is done, the other has the lining pinned but not stitched and I was too tired last night to finish "Zombie Wars"!
