I opened my email the other day to skim down the subject lines. At work I don't have time to goof off, pretty much ever, but a few times a day I glance at my personal email to see if I'm missing anything.
I saw an email
From: service
Subject line: Your Order From Amazon Has Shipped
Cool!!!
Awesome!! My order has shipped!
My brain is processing this information as the first line of the email registers.
Your order from Inflatable Madness . . .
Double take . . .triple take . . . .inflatable registers . . . wait . . .WHAT????
Inflatable Madness. What?
What did I order? Did I order something, what did I . . . . I didn't order . . . .anything . . .. . .Did I order something? . . .inflatable?
I ordered the soundtrack from De-Lovely. Obviously, didn't pay any attention to the name of the vendor. I order the cheapest item, in the best shape, from closest to home. Might think about paying closer attention next time.
