UPDATE FROM THE DIRTY SOUTH #1
i only spend the first weekend in Marietta, GA (suburb of Atlanta). it didn't go so well. friday was a lot of fun, although i almost got the shit beat out of me by about 8 Hammerskins. Cat got really weird and started acting very cold toward me. and by sunday she told me i had to go. i don't want to get into the details about that here, but i've moved on.
monday night i got on a bus to go to Gulfport, Mississippi. that's were Nate was headed to stay with his friend Eric and i was told that i could stay there for a while too. but i ended up getting down here before Nate because i got booted from Cat's place. so i've been in Gulfport for about the last week. Eric has been really cool and i really appreciate everything he has done for me. Nate got down here on friday. we had to go pick him up from the train station in New Orleans. New Orleans is only like an hour away.
we have been hanging out with these skins down here named Derek and Matt. they are fucking awesome guys. they are in the Navy and stationed down here. Derek has this pickup truck with no cap on the back and where ever we go, Eric, Nate and I have to ride in the back. even when we went to NOLA.
friday night we were hanging out at Derek and Matt's house drinking a lot and playing pool. we decided to walk to the store to get more beer. there were about 7 of us walking down the street drunk and we got pulled over by some cops. ... 5 cars to be exact. they said we looked like the biggest bunch of Neo-Nazi's they had ever seen. hahahaha! they were very cool with us though and were joking around with us the whole time. this one female officer was in training so she did sobriety tests on all of us. it was kinda cool. at the end of the night i ended up passing out under the pool table.
saturday night we went to this local bar called The Downtown Tavern. there was a few punk rock cover bands and we had a total blast. Derek and Matt showed up too a little later, it really seemed like the skinheads ran that place... well... we did.
it's really weird to see christmas decorations all over the place when it's warm outside and all the leaves are still on the trees. and seeing all the palm trees rapped with lights is very strange.
i miss you all very much and i keep on dreaming about people back home, it's kinda depressing. if anyone ever wants to call me, please do. i do have my cell phone with me and would love to here from y'all.
