[Like everyone else in this situation, Claire too woke up on a cold bowling alley bench and subsequently rolled off. After the rude awakening, he groggily stood up, stretched, and took in his surroundings.]

Ya know, you'd think I'd remember passin' out in a bowlin' alley of all places.

[Chisame was slightly freaked out, she hadn't even gone near the bowling alley in the past few days. Let alone knew how to even bowl.]

[The truth is...Claire never even steeped foot inside the bowling alley before today. Bowling just isn't his thing. Because of this he was honestly starting to think he was droned for doing nothing again, his drone got drunk, and somehow passed out in the bowling ally. There was an emergency and he was left behind for some reason.

When he heard Chisame he stopped trying to logic things out and turned around.]

So, I'm not the only one here...that's a relief.

I much rather be alone then trapped with someone I don't know. [ She could handle yelling out secrets over the phone lines, getting almost killed by the milk, but being trapped in a random place with someone else. Not so much...]

I'm guessing this is another trick by the town.

Might be, I'm not entirely sure. Considerin' all the stuff I've been through since gettin' here, this seems pretty normal. Unless you know, there's some kinda masked killer with an icepick hidin' somewhere.

Compared to what happened with the milk I don't think this is a big deal. Then again I was lucky and nothing happened to me. [She sighs a little]

A masked killer on the loose is just the plot of some b rate horror movie, just because we're trapped doesn't mean anyone is going to be killed any time soon.

You did get lucky. I got sent on a killin' spree twice 'n got killed twice.

Who knows it could happen. If not a masked killer, then maybe Dracula or somethin'. Besides, it's just an idea. I'm not sayin' anyone's gonna die. But it just seems like like somethin' this place would pull on two unsuspectin' people like us.

Killing spree? [She just blinks and doesn't really have a reaction to that. Hurting people and flat out killing them are two things she really doesn't want to see or really hear about.]

I've heard about people doing things like that, but you seem perfectly fine now so being hurt or killed must not bug people to much if they seem to come back to life later.

I'm pretty sure I wiped out the entire bar for no apparent reason.

Even though I came back to life, the memories're still there, believe me.

I was droned at the time, so I couldn't really do anythin' about controllin' myself. Anyway, most of my memories from those two days were pretty foggy, so who knows what I actually did.

It seems like a lot of people were droned when the events with the milk started happening. [Thankfully Chisame locked her self in the house and didn't go outside for a few days.] I didn't think people here were that violent though...

New York? So a place like this must not be that big a change for you then?

Maybe everyone else that was droned took that joke 'bout not drinkin' the milk seriously? As for bein' violent, you'd be surprised.

As far as small towns go, not really. I mean other than bein' twenty somethin' years into the future and the fact that this place a little too clean...oh, and the whole drone thing 'n the side effects from the milk. But that's kinda a givin, am I right?

Of course it's a given. Though at least people seem to have some form of technology. Even if there's no internet and only a basic phone line. [She sighs a little, the whole no internet thing is still bugging her.]

This whole town is creepy, no matter what you try and do to it. I've already had to deal with people spilling their guts over the phone, people going crazy because of the milk and now this.

Yeah, well so have I....I kinda got here right before everyone started spillin' their guts. In fact I kinda got here durin' the time where everyone was havin' trouble rememberin' who they were. So, Chisame, just because of that I'm guessin' you got here 'round the same time, right?

It's a series of wires and networks people have set up to transfer data to a number of places. Don't worry about it seeing as this town doesn't have computers or anything like that. [She sighs a little, even with her laptop she can't do much with it given the lack of internet in Mayfield.]

Give or take, one of my classmates has been here longer then me. I can't believe I've been stuck here for a few months already, I should be back home right now enjoying the a/c and the comforts of my dorm room.

Well now...this future internet mumbo jumbo sounds pretty intrestin'. Though I've never used it myself or heard about it before now I can see why you're probably lost without it. [Claire walks towards the direction of the snack bar, stops, and looks back over his shoulder.] But for me, it doesn't seem like technology has changed over the past twenty years so I don't exactly know the feelin'.

I don't know what I'd be doin' if I wasn't here. Takin' my fiancée out on dates most likely. Oh...'n doin' my job whenever Luck decides he wants to hire me for somethin'.

So, ya think that little snack bar over there has food? Non-toxic food I mean. To tell you the truth I'm kinda starvin'. [He turns back around and starts walking again.] You can join me if you want to, it's up to you.
