internship is ovah! not too bad, not too bad
also ending yesterday was that one of the interns was giving me and my boss rides to and from work, however she was just learning to drive (despite her saying that she had taken the driving course)...let's just say that anxiety and excitement were very high each morning and evening for our daily dose of death defying thrills. not to mention that only a couple days ago we found out she couldn't read the road signs from half a block (or less!) away because her glasses prescription was too weak...no wonder...let's just say again that after finding that out and seeing her increased blindness during dusk/night hours yesterday prompted me to commandeer that vehicle and drive it back home after our boss was dropped off.
on the other hand, i got to drive a car again (which hasn't happened since like 2 months ago and that was only for a 1.5 miles...and before that was christmas break...) whheeee!
been bumming around my room today trying to find live olympic video coverage (i lack cable tv), but NOOOOOOoooo...nbc has to host a online player that will work for the browser i have, work with my OS operating software, work with my 'broadband' internet connection, but for some stupid reason has the requirement of needing the intel mac's chipset rather than my slightly earlier laptop....grrrrr...they should've stuck with flash or quicktime or basically anything else ...so much for looking forward to watching the olympics
