So I am trying to apply for internships (specifically for the sony imageworks animation internship, currently) during all of this Crazy...and my 3d character animation teacher who animates for Sony Imageworks asked me (and the other ppl who asked him for recommendation letters) to write the letters for him and then he will just change stuff around

i have experience with this. you write a letter of rec and then put it in a letter to the professor saying, these are some fine points that i think accurately reflect my aptitude. or, if the things in the letter are general enough, you can say, these are some highlights from former rec letters. this is a tasteful way to tell him what to write without making you feel like you sold your soul. good luck!!!!
