I posted a fic last night!
Field Work, an X-Men/Buffyverse crossover. Faith/Logan, for mature audiences, approx. 1,500 words.
Dennis Kucinich introduced articles of impeachment against Bush last night, and there's nothing about it in today's news. Sad. Not that anything will come of it, but it's on the record that there's at least one Democrat on Congress with a spine.
Since Kucinich is awesome, I'll sandwich him with Buffy stuff.
Oh, Renee. Oh, Xander. That's not fair at all. I know it's war, but they were so cute together. Now he's all broken again. At least Dracula was there to comfort him. That was an odd twist, but I'm not objecting because it amused me.
Satsu got to prove herself, but since she's staying in Japan, I guess we won't see all that much of her. Which is too bad. I like her. As does Buffy.
I got into a small disagreement with someone the other week about Buffy/Satsu, but I stand by what I said. It's sweet - though leaning more toward bittersweet. Satsu knew what she was getting into, and I think Buffy handled the situation fairly well. (Possibly it would have been kinder to push Satsu away before things got physical, but possibly not.) They both had two nights of great sex, which they both kind of needed.
Like Dracula as an ally, Mecha Dawn is one of those things that amuses me while not necessarily jiving with me.
But Andrew was awesome! I wish he'd had a few more panels. It's kind of ridiculous how much I've come to like Andrew. He annoyed me so much on the tv series.
Hmm, I was going to write something about the recurring villain, and how it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, but that'll have to wait. I need to get back to work.
