Goonies never say die!
What can I say about TTT:EE? Faramir. Faramir, Faramir. :) So good-looking and tormented, now that we have that elaborate flashback (with Boromir! Yay! I hate Denethor!)! I liked the EE. I haven't seen the FotR:EE so I can't compare the two, but I prefer the EE of TTT, though I doubt I'll sit through it again. I realise why certain scenes were trimmed; unfortunately, the deleted scenes diluted the cheesiness I found so annoying the first time watching. Hmm. Oh, well. Good film. Too bad Faramir has to spend most of it comatose. Oh, and Ian McKellan. I love him. He brings so much warmth to Gandalf and you can tell he loves the material he's been given. And New Zealand's South Island reminds me a bit of the Scottish Highlands. So beautiful and bleak. Eowyn is wonderful. So are Merry and Pippin.
