I saw Matthew Bourne's Edward Scissorhands at the Ordway tonight. It was so good. It's late and I have work tomorrow, so I really can't take the time to describe everything I loved about it, but really, if you enjoy musical theater and it comes to your area, I recommend it highly.
I also got to meet Matthew Bourne! Like, actually meet him. It was opening night, so he was there, and he came out at the end for a brief Q & A with those of us willing to stick around. (Not as many as I'd have thought, but it was already after 10 at that point.) So cool.
He signed my program. He drew a heart on it. I got to tell him he's amazing. :)
