Also known as links. :) They'll take you to my fanfic journal.

Well yes, I noticed. But when they're bold and in parentheses they look like lj-cuts. I much prefer links that looks like links. (And of course straight-forward links that are called "lj-cuts" by the poster also make me wanna shake people.)

*g* They please me aesthetically.

I only get annoyed when people make a big deal about their lj-cut is actually a link. Like, "This lj-cut is faker than Pamela Anderson's cleavage." Haha. *yawn* I just want them to take me to the fic with a minimum of fuss. :)

Okay, I suppose that's valid.

I don't usually have time to read stuff when I first come across it, so I'm always dropping stuff in Memories for later reading, so when there's more than one link in an entry and I think they're lj-cuts and they're not it adds fuss to my system.

I'll buy that; I do it too.

You can always bookmark this post. I'm not going to change the links or anything. I always post to my fic journal and link here and on various communities; it keeps things in order, which I guess I'm sort of anal about. *g*

I actually clicked on Post Comment originally with intent to bookmark the post -- thinking the fics were contained within this post (honestly forgetting that you have a separate fic journal). I'm anal about my Memories, so it actually serves my needs better to Memory both individual fic entries.

I much prefer when people post a fic in one place and then just post links back to that original entry 'cause then I (a) don't end up Memorying the same item multiple times and (b) know which link to use if I end up reccing it.

*nod* I like having all my feedback in one place as well. Makes it look like there's more. *g*
