A/N: I've been stalled on a dozen different projects, three of which are due this month, but I told myself that if I could just finish one story, the others would come. Here's hoping! This is my first "Rent" ficlet, prompted by the fact that I saw the movie then had a bowl of chicken soup last night. At 640 words, I kind of think of it as a very long drabble.
