I can't seem to get anything done today, aside from post ubersad Sirius-centric fic and a little cleaning. I need to leave in a little while for my friend's daughter's play. I think we're going to go out for drinks later, so I won't be back until tomorrow. I SO need a drink. This place where we're going has tiramisu martinis that are supposed ( Read more... )

It's amazing how much Sophie looks like Lily. Not just the similar colouring but the cute-evil expressions and all. ;)

*squees at all the kitty-cuteness* I love kitty pic spam! Sophie's nearly a dead-ringer for a friend's former cat, the one and only Random. So sweet!

I can't resist cats in general. Okay, more than cats -- also dogs, bunnies, ferrets, foxes etc. I love fuzzy critters and I miss mine terribly so I have to live vicariously through other peoples. :)

I'm starting to like dogs. I didn't always. I prefer lower maintenance animals. *g* But I like our dog, Emily. And I love our friends' dogs. They're older, so they're quite gentle.

Isn't she pretty? I mean, she's kind of funny looking since she's cross-eyed, but she's a really pretty cat. It feels so weird having this purebred, when we got all our other animals from shelters. What happened is, our friend has asthma but she really wanted a cat, so she did all this research and found out that Balinese cats (supposedly) don't cause allergic reactions. So, she got Mei Mei, brought her home, and had a severe asthma attack. So she gave the cat to us. Eventually she found a ragdoll named Bella who didn't trigger her asthma, so everyone ended up happy. Except for Sophie, who hates Mei Mei inexplicably. ^_^
