Oh, and I LOVED "Wonder Woman." So much. I feel like I should write a proper review, but I also think other people have already said everything I possibly could.
Was it perfect? No, but there's no such thing as a perfect movie. Was it a jillion times better than every other superhero film I can think of? Hell, yes. Gal Gadot's Diana was everything I wanted to character to be: strong, brave, kind, funny. Chris Pine's Steve was worthy of her, without upstaging her. (I like how the Times review described him: "a blue-eyed flyboy who is the living embodiment of the hashtag 'not all men.'" Nailed it.)
I had so many doubts that this film would ever make it to the big screen, never mind be amazing, never mind succeed at the box office (which apparently it is). How wonderful to be wrong.
