(no subject)
I have 99 Star Trek AOS/Reboot stories posted on AO3.
1. How in the hell have I written 99 stories in one fandom?? (I've probably written more for HP, but I've lost many of them. Some on purpose. *g*)
2. That number, 99, is bothering me. It's like it's not a real number. It's a stepping stone between 98 and 100. I need to either find a ficlet I somehow forgot to post, or write a new story.

Don't wanna go to work tomorrow. I mean, it'll be nice to have people to talk to and I really should water my plants (couldn't bring them home because the cats would eat them) but I feel cruddy, and I have no projects lined up for this week. Maybe I'll only pop in for a couple of hours.

I'm reading My Five Tigers by Lloyd Alexander. I guess you could call it a memoir. He wrote it in 1956, and it's about the five cats he and his wife adopted. I hadn't even known about this book when I named my cat. I mean, I knew Lloyd Alexander liked cats because he put them in nearly all of his stories. But reading his thoughts and observations about his own cats is really very lovely. So far, the book is entirely charming without being saccharine. I think he would probably have liked having a cat named after him.
