Just stopping by to say hello. I'm having a good holiday, but I've been so busy. I've had someone to see every single day, which is new for me - hermit that I am. Or that I've been.

I spent Christmas with my dad and his girlfriend and her family, which was lovely. On Monday I went out with a girl I've been friends with since we were five. Yesterday I met my aunt, uncle, and cousins in Manhattan. We went to the Morgan Library, where I swear I saw Ralph Fiennes, or else his identical twin. We were about a foot away from each other, but he was looking at something so I only saw his profile - but it looked so much like him. Damn. Handsome man. Then we went out to eat (not with Ralph).

Today I'm going to the new Sherlock Holmes film with ragdoll and midnitemaraud_r. Tomorrow I'm seeing another childhood friend. Friday I'm seeing my best friend and her family.

Ack. I mean, it's good. But I haven't gotten anything done!

I've selected five prompts from fandom_stocking and one from where_no_woman that I'm going to try to fill. I didn't manage to write any Yuletide treats.

But I did have time to read the two lovely full-length stories I got for Yuletide! They're both for "Tangled," which made me happy, since I saw the movie shortly after sign-ups ended last year, and wished I'd requested or offered it. But how was I to know I'd love the film?

These are both from Eugene's POV and they're adorable:

The Day Flynn Rider Died (I especially love Rapunzel's dad in this one. He's a cool guy.)

Ten Glimpses of Rapunzel's New Life As Told By Eugene (The author did a good job with Eugene's POV, and his observations are quite astute.)

So, I'm quite happy with my haul. :)

Eurgh, there is a fly in my room, and my cats are just sleeping! The fly needs to die.

Sophie's been vomiting. Last night it was projectile (she missed Lloyd by a couple of inches). She seems okay otherwise, so I'm just keeping an eye on her.
