Still sick. My head and throat really hurt. Defaulting on purimgifts was the right thing to do. I can't write like this. I can barely read.
Finished watching S5 of Deep Space Nine. Eee! Things are getting exciting. I haven't seen these episodes since they first aired, back in the 90s. In fact, I stopped watching midway through S6. I don't remember why. Possibly it was after I learned a particular character would be leaving. Definitely loving Bashir more this time around. And Leeta! I don't remember her being this awesome. I love her.
I've totally revised the outline of my hurty fic. Now it's from McCoy's POV and I'm revealing what happened through dialog instead of flashbacks. Now I'm less worried about it turning into All You Can Do and Hold On/Let Go. It got me thinking about all the horrible things I do to these particular characters. I thought I was being fairly evenhanded about doling out the pain, but I went back over all my AOS fics and made a list, and the results surprised me a little.
I'm much more horrible to Jim.
