I've decided to do a fairly bad thing. In this one class, I've accrued so much extra credit over the semester, that I can basically afford to blow off the final assignment. (But not the final paper - that's almost done, anyway.) So. I think I just may. Because I can't wrap my head around this one. And my head hurts. And I just don't wanna.

(I'd send on an email saying you're prioritizing your mental health over the assignment right now, in context of the zillion extra credit points you have? Communication is usually good at mitigating that kind of negative impression.)

If you talk to your professor, she'll probably understand. Professors are usually quite understanding--after all, they've been in your shoes! Besides, enough extra cred to blow off the final assignment must surely have impressed her already.

*g* Oh, I'm sure she'd be very understanding. The thing is, I don't want to do the assignment at all. I mean, I will, but I'm not going to give it the effort I gave previous assignments. It's worth 2 points. Out of 100. If I just hand it in with crappy answers, I'm sure I'll get 1 point at least.
