I realize this is a bit random, but I just found this and... maaaaaan, you can't stop THERE! I want to know what happens next!

I really enjoyed this story, especially now that it's getting into some fascinating plot twists. I like your take on Kylara - a villain, yes, but a complex one with fairly reasonable motivations - and I love, love, love the wacky time-traveling.

The whole thing was especially enjoyable as about 90% of all Pern fic I've found is quite horribly written and also focuses on OCs, which is not bad in and of itself, except that I like McCaffrey's characters.

I recognize your name. I read All the Fishes Come Home To Roost, and I loved it. :)

I know, I know I need to finish the sequel, which I've only been working on since ... gah, March or April. I reached a point and got totally stalled. But I can promise it's going somewhere interesting! And Kylara continues to be naughty and subversive. I'm hoping to get back to this story arc over winter break, after yuletide.

In any case, I'm so glad that you're enjoying my Pern stories. Thank you SO much for the encouragement!

Speaking of which, I'm hoping for some good Yuletide Pern stories. One of my requests was for dragonriding Mirrim being awesome.

That would be awesome. boosette and I have decided that, providing we get our assigned fics finished without too much craziness, we're going to attempt to shower Mirrim with the love she deserves. (That's supposed to be Path in my icon.)

I shall definitely keep that bookmarked. I actually asked for fic about Moreta, since she's my favorite Pern heroine, but I've been wanting to write more about Mirrim. I have a semi-plot worked out. And a title! Sometimes the title is half the battle.
